Estes Park

The last 17 miles drive into Estes Park was windy, steep and beautiful.

We took a fabulous drive into the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was cloudy, so many of the amazing views we might have seen were hidden.

The highest elevation we achieved was 12,300.

The temp got down to a glorious 48 degrees.

We saw elk in the park but didn't get a picture.

On Sunday we met my cousin Mike and his wife Diane in Estes.

It was a great afternoon. Thanks so much to Mike and Diane for making the drive to Estes Park.
