Snow, it happened.

We stayed too late.

Somebody, who shall go nameless, wanted to see the northern lights!!

We are in Ft Nelson and it snowed about 3 inches.

It's bloody cold and we are concerned tonight's 22 degrees will "freeze" things. UGH

The snow started around 2am and continued until almost 6pm.

See all the snow on the awning that is over the slide? This afternoon Les went up on the ladder and brushed the snow off so tonight it won't freeze up there. There are 4 slides with awnings, he was pretty much frozen after this little task.

Back to Watson Lake and the Sign Forest. Managed a trip to Watson Lake that did not involve the emergency room, thank the Lord.

We, and by we I mean Les, hung our sign. This also involved a ladder, really testing our luck in a town that has proven to be unlucky.
There it is, a Texas license plate with our names and the date. The plate was stolen off a car years ago just for this purpose:)

Wildlife Sightings:

 Elk
This was on the drive from Watson Lake to Ft Nelson.

Stone sheep. One of two groups we saw on the road.

Buffalo. Can never tell when one of them will get spooked and run in front of you. That would be bad, for everyone concerned. We drive about 5 miles an hour past these guys.

More buffalo. Hard to tell here, but there are about 50 of them in this heard.

Caribou, there were only 2 of these.

Off to Dawson Creek tomorrow...... In the snow and sub freezing temps. Should be soooooo much fun.
