Fast Ferry to Juneau:

From Haines we took an excursion to Juneau for the day. We boarded Fjordland Catamaran that held about70 people.

I had to find a pic of the boat online.

It took about 2 hrs to get to Juneau in the morning.

We went past some beautiful scenery. Our weather was picture perfect and the seas were calm.

We spent a good amount of time in the Red Dog Saloon.

And then it turned into a whale watching excursion.

 

I believe we were one of 8 boats watching 3 whales.

 

 

 

 

A cruise ship went by.

What a beautiful day we had.

 

We left Haines at 8:30am and returned at 7:15pm and loved every moment.
